Our Location

Crickhowell is a picturesque and bustling Georgian market town and Bridge House is in the heart of it!  A fantastic place to visit with independent shops, galleries and high-quality pubs, restaurants and cafés. Crickhowell is known as a jewel in the crown of the Brecon Beacons National Park and a perfect base for long country walks or many other outdoor activities including angling, canoeing, walking, golfing, mountain biking, hang gliding, horse riding and climbing.  It is also an ideal location for just relaxing and enjoying the scenery or learning more about Crickhowell's interesting and varied history.

Ideally located for the local events that take place throughout the year, including; Green Man Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Hay Festival, Brecon Jazz Festival, the Royal Welsh Show, Abergavenny Cycling and Food Festivals. Historic sites on offer include: Abergavenny Castle, Raglan Castle, Tretower Court, and many more are just a few miles away.

Crickhowell and its surrounds are all within easy reach of south-east England and the Midlands. Public transport is accessible and the motorways from London and from Birmingham will bring you here within three hours.

Crickhowell lies on the A40 Trunk road, providing easy access from the UK Motorway system, only an hour from the Severn Bridge.
